Simply set the tool to the correct version of Minecraft, put in your seed, and the map will show you all the Ancient Cities within your world and their associated coordinates. If you don't have cheats on, but know your world's seed and just want the coordinates of the nearest Ancient City, Chunkbase has an Ancient City finder toolyou can use. If you don't feel like navigating all the way there, you can also teleport using a separate cheat code. This will return coordinates for an Ancient City, allowing you to easily find out where to make a beeline.
This mod can be used server-side only (so vanilla clients can connect). You will be able to add custom buildings and use modded building blocks. You spawn in an old and partially destroyed city that takes over the entire overworld. You will never find the Deep Dark or an Ancient City under oceans, rivers, or swamps. When you create your world you can select ‘Lost Cities’ as your worldtype.
Once underground, you can use the F3 screen to ensure you're still underneath the mountains. Ancient Cities generate more frequently under the mountain biomes, so traveling to one of those could make for a good starting point.
